Where does this crazy idea come from? The Business Council of Aust. Why? Cos states have a poor record of protecting our national treasures.

We need the Federal Govt to continue protecting sites of nationwide interest. Too often State govts have their eyes on potential royalties.

At a meeting this week, the Fed Govt will further its plan to hand over its environmental protection responsibilities to the State Premiers.
